NEW DEVELOPMENT
AT THE CARLTON HOTEL:

We are excited to announce a new partnership at The Carlton Hotel, St Annes. The Banks family are teaming up with the Smith family to develop a new investment programme for the hotel.

Steve Smith, a Northwest business man and resident of St Annes along with his wife Dina and son James will be joining the team to help regenerate the hotel in the coming months. Steve brings with him expertise in customer experience and a desire to focus his efforts toward a local business. “Rogers enthusiasm and drive for the business are what encouraged me to jump on board. We are liaising with architects to transform the ground floor space and also upgrade the bedrooms, with added scope to increase the number of rooms.” says Steve.

The Carlton is proud to have been a family run hotel, with Johanna Banks at the helm, for 23 years. “I’m very excited to have the Smiths onboard. It is great to have a fresh vision to modernise the hotel and they are a great family. I will still be here looking after reservations but it will be great to have Dina as front of house to support me.”

Johannas son, Roger, has taken a more active role in the past 7 years and has helped the hotel embrace the online booking trend. “We are very excited for the future and our plans to build on our family-run, family friendly ethos will mean a great product for our guests. We are working towards a Spring transformation and we will be keeping our guests updated every step of the way.”
